Claire got in touch with me before their trip to London from Taipei, asking if I could capture their time in the city, so the kids could remember it. She didn’t necessarily want a typical London landmark photoshoot, but photographs of them having fun as a family, and living the “London life”. They were also keen to capture the beauty that is autumn in London, walking in the park and playing with the leaves.
So I suggested we start our photoshoot at Holland Park, a little hidden gem between Kensington and Notting Hill, away from the crowds of Hyde Park. After a spot of running and throwing the leaves, and even a chess match with a giant chess set in the Dutch Garden, we headed for a stroll around colourful Notting Hill streets, Portobello road, and then lunch at The Continental Kitchen. The family loved the area so much they are planning to stay there next time they are over in London!
Following their London vacation photography session, the family opted for a set of digital images and a beautiful Fine Art Album which I can’t wait to share when it’s ready. For now, here’s a selection of my favourite images from the shoot.
