When Mireia first got in touch with me, she wasn’t sure if I photographed grown up families too (I do!) – but she really wanted me to be her photographer for a very special event in her life, graduating from the University of Oxford with a PhD in Physics – and documenting her family and friends sharing this day with her.
Her idea was right up my street – documenting the day as it happens, without the standard posed graduation photos that tell you very little of what the day actually felt like. I absolutely loved spending the afternoon with her and her loved ones – and I still have a huge grin on my face every time I look at these photos. I bet you will too (make sure the sound’s on when you watch it)!
