For this Christmas Traditions Session I headed to Richmond to photograph the family decorating their Christmas tree and making a gingerbread house. The kids were of an age where – at least some of them – could be trusted with handing a hot pan and melting sugar it in, and when I arrived they already made great progress on their gingerbread house. Three siblings and sticky caramel naturally makes for wonderful and humorous photographic opportunities, and I know this family will treasure these images more and more with each passing year!
