My photoshoots are not about looking like the perfect family — there’s no such thing! They are about being unapologetically yourselves, capturing the unique personalities of your children and celebrating this season of your life in all its real-life glory. My clients tell me that one of their most favourite things when looking back at the images is seeing just how much their children love them. To be reminded of that in a single frame is priceless.

We will isolate one morning or afternoon in time and capture it just the way it is, so years and years down the road you and your kids can look at these pictures and remember not just what you looked like, what what life felt like.

Beauty in the mundane
A documentary family photoshoot is unlike any other photography session you might have experienced before. No need to get ready, to rush, or wear special clothes, or do something you’d never normally do.
Trust me to find the beauty in your mundane and ten, twenty years from now you will thank yourself for deciding to embrace imperfection.
Straightforward pricing
An all-inclusive session fee of £1650 covers my time, travel within London, Surrey, and surrounding counties, and a full collection of high-resolution digital images that you can print to your heart’s content and share with friends and family.
An option to purchase heirloom custom designed fine art albums or framed prints is available following your session.

The Unconventional Family Portrait
Banish boring family portraits!
The Unconventional Family Portrait is quirky, totally bonkers and full of personality. A portrait full of metaphorical Easter eggs that you can pick out for years to come. Your kids don’t need to sit still or look at the camera – and even parents can wear pyjamas. This portrait is for families who are ready to be loudly, unapologetically and imperfectly themselves.
My definition of family is expansive: extended families, blended families, chosen families, couples, singles with or without furry babies (or other life forms!) are all welcome.
Ahead of your session I will send you some things to think about, and on the day we will spend approximately 30 minutes together at your home or garden, where with my gentle guidance we will work to co-create a unique portrait full of personality. How much personality? Well, that’s entirely up to you!
Your own piece of contemporary art.
The Unconventional Family Portrait is £350. The result is your own custom piece of contemporary art, meant to be framed, displayed and enjoyed: this session comes with an A3-sized print of an image of your choice, along with a digital file of the same photograph.
This session is only available within a 20 minute drive (approximately 6 mile radius) of Hampton Court.
Live further away? Organise with one or two local friends to have their Unconventional Family Portrait sessions on the same day, and we can make it happen!
